Alright. I feel like I did my fair share of taking advantage of ~*~the city in the summer~*~. I saw the Mets play! I went to the Museum of Natural History and the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens and rode on the Cyclone! I saw Passion Pit, Cymbals Eat Guitars, and Matt & Kim for free! I saw lots of people I love, had lots of people visit, and enjoyed time alone. I ate a lot of good food (mostly Mexican) and drank a lot of delicious beverages (entirely beer).
But now it is time for Part II of my summer. You know, the part where I (very financially irresponsibly) took off the entire month of August off from work. Week one will be spent in Rhode Island with my wonderful family for my mom and sister’s birthdays, week two will be enjoying the Burlington that is indescribably better in the summer than the winter, and week three will be in one of my favorite places ever–the Dunseith’s beach house on Fire Island.
Yayyyy.
